Sam4s printer support for Sam4s Astra kiosks
We have implemented support for Sam4s GCube receipt printer in our Smartix software for self-checkouts and self-service kiosks. This model is used in the Sam4s ASTRA line of self-service kiosks. Smartix software is fully adapted to these models — now owners of Sam4s devices can freely use full functionality of Smartix software for their kiosks without additional integrations.
Direct printing on the printer has been implemented, as a result, compared to printing via the OS driver:
- Print speed has been increased
- Print quality has been improved
Sam4s ASTRA kiosks are already involved in real projects, for example, such devices based on Smartix software have been launched at the Novosibirsk Zoo for selling entrance tickets.
